Compensation

vCap FX allocates capital to your hedge fund as an investor via vCap Funds and/or by introducing prospective accredited investors to your fund. Since, we are compensated directly by our investment advisory customers, we do not share in any of your fund’s management or performance fees for introducing capital to your fund.

However, as a part of the capital introduction process, your fund may be required to maintain trading and clearing accounts with vCap FX’ licensed subsidiaries, vCap Futures and vCap FX. These subsidiaries would receive compensation from your fund’s clearing and execution business.

In establishing a capital introducing arrangement with vCap FX and clearing/trading arrangements its subsidiaries, vCap Futures and vCap FX, it is critical that the fund manager understands the factors that may have an impact on the success of the capital raising campaign. We want to stress that this is a partnership – we both must do our part to be successful. Philosophically, we believe that it is important that the expectations of both parties be reasonable. As such, we are willing to work with our partners to devise benchmarks for measuring fund raising success relative to the investment success of the funds we introduce capital to or invest in.
